The Detroit Rockers fell behind 3-0 but scored the next 18 points to defeat the Edmonton Drillers 18-3 in an indoor National Professional Soccer League game Thursday. The Edmonton loss clinched the North Division title for the 27-9 Milwaukee Wave. The Rockers held the 18-18 Drillers to 19 shots on goal and the Detroit defence blocked 11 of those. Lee Tschantret had three goals including the winner for the 15-21 Rockers. The loss dropped Edmonton's road record to 4-13.
